My mother had some health issues growing up so I ended up being responsible for my little sister and parents. I make good money so supporting them while I live my life was never a problem.

Now my little sister has turned 18 I just want to kick her out and make her fend for herself.

I cannot be supporting an 18 year old woman who is in perfect condition to work and take care of herself while I take care of my parents at the same time.

Is it a good decision to kick her out of my parents apartment? I'm on the lease anyway I can do whatever I want because I think the era of free ride should come to an end when one turns 18

What is she doing?

Is she going to school, applying to jobs?

She works part time and is about to go to college....all rent free that has to end

when I was 18 I was working FULLTIME and going to school at the same time

I mean, just based on that, I guess it seems like she has her head on straight.

I assume she'd be living at home and not a dorm.

Doesn't really make sense to kick her out just to teach her life lessons if she's doing her part.

She refuses to contribute every month.
