GE, cop a in store warranty if it's cheap enough , like the other poster said stay away from Samsung and LG.
I've worked in Appliances and GE is by far the worst. And for any water based appliances, GE is just awful. Samsung is a close second.

LG is actually the most reliable along with kitchen aid.

And for the poster that said Kenmore, they're pretty much made by LG.

Dont get anything too cheap. They all serve the same function but you will regret being cheap when simple shyt like shelves begin to break under the expected & reasonable stress/weight

You pay for being cheap in the long haul ....go at least mid grade FOR A FRIDGE....you dont even really need to spend a full grand on a nice new fridge so disregard those 2 and 3 plus grand selections when considering "mid level"

Most Kenmore Side By Side's are made by Whirlpool.

Most of their French Door's are made by LG

Yeah, I actually lumped LG in with Samsung due to my experience with the latter. From the replies here, it sounds like LG is actually an acceptable brand.

I fukked up and copped a new Samsung joint. The air vent to bring in cold air is not on the top, but in the back . If you load up the fridge with food, it blocks the air vent and the fridge doesn't stay cold. :comeon:

It looks dope when it's closed, but it can't hold a lot of food.:beli:

yeah I was close to buying a 2016 Samsung fridge from a liquidation outlet, but I couldn't pull the trigger on it. Looks nice, but there was no cosmetic issues and it's in a liquidation place only after a year...somebody must have really been looking to get off that fridge for a good reason and I don't wanna find out

might have to peep a Westinghouse. They make dope fridges that pertain to specific dimensions

never looked into them. thanks!

yeah that's true. I'm really just trying to increase the value of the home for when I'm ready to rent it out. We got a nice 5 burner GE gas range. but buying a reliable fridge is turning into a stressful thing cause which brand to trust

Make sure you get an extended warranty + pay with your credit card for extra assurance + if you can buy from Costco
