Looked it up on wiki and the synopsis seemed :mjpls: so I was like lemme read more

A whole fukkkng movie about a racist Black cop who's mad at an interracial couple because his wife cheated on him with a white man

:mjlol:

And the cop dies at the end because he shoots the white man

This shyt sounds ridiculous

It was actually based on a real life story where it was a white cop harassing an interracial couple.
The plot was loosely based on real life events in Altadena, California involving an interracial couple, John and Mellaine Hamilton, and Irsie Henry,[3] an African-American Los Angeles police officer. The saga was documented in a series of articles in both the Pasadena Star News and the Pasadena Weekly beginning in 2002.[4] Journalist Andre Coleman received a Los Angeles' Press Club Award for Excellence in Journalism for his series of articles in the Weekly.[5] Henry was eventually fired by the LAPD for his actions.[6]

yeah but that makes more sense
because they didn't want to show that they ruined the whole film

edit apparently there was a story about a black cop doing this in real life.
Notice how we got a feature film of that one rare moment in history :mjpls:
