My cultural heritage is so fragmented outside of my immediate family - it's hard to establish a foundation when there were all these different branches coming off the tree. I know my race and what my father taught us, that's unquestionable but trying to peel back the layers, confusing af. But I just go with what I have to work with and resources that I have; hopefully create a lane to pass down. That's part of the reason why I'm pro-activism.

Know what? - Queens branch needs new energy I feel like they need to be reinvigorated, I'll be at the membership meeting on Nov. 18th.
They also have a criminal justice review board to review allegations against the NYPD, they need the legal oversight. Been feeling stuck in a rut anyway for some new shyt to focus on.

Why would we need to do that, AKA GET RESOURCES WE DON'T HAVE, when there are institutions that THEY SAY work on our behalf, that are already in operation?

Why do we got to start all over when we have institutions built off our backs?
