what does that have to do with anything? How many centers are NBA coaches?
KAJ is arguably the GOAT, and also from a winning college program...and he's been getting fronted on for decades
what does that have to do with anything?
you have people who never played in the NBA becoming successful coaches
Restoring the old school Big East feeling.
Coach Thompson passed away recently, NO WAY Ewing's team would go out like chumps this year.
not reallyIt’s a travesty he hasn’t gotten a job in the league yet

The only reason I can fathom why Patrick hasn’t gotten a NBA shot is because of his style of coaching. Georgetown under Patrick still plays a old school two big man system (Jamarko Pickett & Wahab and next year Mutuombo & Wahab) so that may hurt him.In terms of Xs and Os, and understanding the game of basketball how many people would know more than one of the most accomplished players in the history of the sport?
How that would translate into coaching might be something else, but to me it's always been odd that such a brilliant basketball mind hasn't been utilized as a head coach.
