I been in the living room smoking gas listening to random gospel songs on YouTube for the past hour. shyt is very uplifting. I ain’t been to church in years and I’m not a religious person but this shyt be powerful. Black gospel music of course, not that white church with a rock band shyt smh. I’m listening to shyt like Kirk Franklin, Mahalia Jackson, Donnie Mclurkin and shyt like that. I might start listening to gospel in the mornings sometimes cause it’s some very positive shyt to listen to.

Naw lol. shyt I grew up in the church like most black kids and the music was always the best part to me. But I never seek gospel out to listen to. I’m just being reminded as an adult of how powerful and soulful gospel is. Like this song that’s playing now for me, you can feel this nikkas pain wether you religious or not
