I'm going to ask the Gods @Still Ill FC and @DrX their take on this. I just found out somebody I enjoy talking to 'catfished' me. We talked for a couple weeks on and off and out of the blue today he updated his profile pic. I never asked to see him or anything because I liked him for who he was.
Turns out he's a real cutie.
A couple hours later I searched for his kik handle on IG (which is very unique) and found a person by the same name who is a probably a 2 on the looks scale. I suspected that all along, I just don't like being lied to.


So I came all friendly "Do you have an Instagram? Bc I think I found you on there. "
He says that's his friend and that he just stole his handle.

Then he says he lied about his real name and asked me if I wanted to know it. I said yea
It's been a couple hours though and he hasn't responded.

I would say he has many red flags....he's a very suspicious person. If a person isn't straight up, and playing confusing games..chances are he has devious plans

I would say avoid him and try meeting ppl with common interest, that are honest with u and not inconsistent
