I'm not hating, it's a slim chance you win a chip, unless you have a superstar talent.
Either you start watching another sport or increase the salary cap, because the NBA has always been like that.

Because those god-awful picks set your franchise back.

The Grizz certainly fell into some luck, but what if they kept Love and paired him with Marc Gasol instead of trading him for Mayo? They'd have the best front court in the league.

What if your Wolves took Curry and Derozan instead of Rubio and Flynn? Those are just bad decisions and they'll haunt the franchise for years.

There's a reason why other than MAYBE Paul George I don't lament who we didn't draft. Why? They would have all failed here too, no doubt in my mind.

They'd suck and we'd still suck. Why? It's beyond management. Can't blame 10 years on bad management anymore. That's trying to escape from the real problem and that's ownership. Some owners want it more than others. Some owners wanna change things when they lose money or fans or games. Then you have others that own a sports team but roll with a logic equivalent to "winning isn't everything."

Some teams need a new player. Some teams need a new coach. Some need new GM's. What do you do to the teams that tried all that and still suck? Someone's hiring those guys.

If anything, some of these teams also got a new lease on life due to ownership changes, Golden State being a major example of this

Like bruh said the majority of these teams that been bad for years dont know what they doing in the draft.

Also doesnt help that they let these nikkas come out after one year and damn near 85-90% of them are projects and have no idea how they'll turn out

That's where I'm at personally. You have to watch the NBA with lowered expectations or no expectations at all. You almost have to watch it like someone completely detached from any rooting interest. It's like college basketball. You hope Kentucky wins a National Title. You'll go nuts if Florida Gulf Coast makes the big dance. Some squads you just can't root for with fan-like tendencies unless you're into masochism.

Here's a good question. Look at the teams out of the playoff hunt so to speak. Other than Boston and maybe Philly, you really think Stern and Silver are really bytching about the tanking? They don't give a fukk about any of those squads. If anything, this is the NBA Stern always wanted.

Why ya'll nikkas actin like tanking is a guarantee to becoming a championship team :what: There's been teams tanking for years and they still suck :beli:

If it was like that everybody would have a superstar :what:

And newsflash you don't blatantly have to tank to lose sometimes you just suck, blame the bad gm's making bad decisions for these teams :stopitslime:

And they've won ZERO championships. They drafted Williams lured Boozer and still didn't win shyt. Deron Williams ran off Jerry Sloan and went to NJ to suck ass. The draft worked well.

:beli:
In the past thirty years, only 8 teams have won the chip. This isn't the NFL or MLB, there's no parity in the NBA, so those 90's Jazz teams making those finals are a huge accomplishment. Also, the Deron Boozer Jazz played in the tough WC, where they had to go through the Lakers.
