I’m listening to Max Kellerman on his show and was just listening to Woj & Steven A. about this Ja Morant shyt. Everybody talking about “he’s owning it. He’s seeking the help that he needs”…

Breh, there ain’t no mental issues going on with that nikka. He wants to be his favorite rapper and wants to be a “street nikka”. It’s as simple as that. I can tell Big Perk wanted to say exactly that but he had to remember he was on live TV.

Ben Simmons didn’t have no fukkin mental health issues…he doesn’t want to play basketball but loves them checks.

Some people do have mental health issues but like 90% of these people out here are just using that as an excuse to be lazy or make stupid ass decisions.

The mental health finesse =year 2023.

Shame we can't pull that when some of us have legit ptsd and may or may not take drugs but the judge doesn't consider it and gives 4 years instead of a year in inpatient program.

White folk pull that card and it works ..they out here raping women and blaming it on the 6th grade bully.

"I'm listening, and learning"
"Mental health"
"It's important that I step back for awhile"
"The first step in my journey to recovery is therapy"

You respond to allegations by casting yourself as a victim and then promise to disappear for a few months. I noticed this started with minorities (often black or gay people) doing it on social media, then white people started doing it, and now corporations have mastered it. It's the ultimate, modern apology. I apologize, but btw I'm also a victim, in fact my victimhood is equal to the person I hurt because I am also hurt, and now I will seek help.
:mjlol:

Next time someone gets busted for anything, think about this when they release their statement on social media. It's the same talking points every time.

I think it’s goofy when used in obvious instances of someone just being a fukkin moron, like in Ja’s case. Besides that though I have no problem with humans overall prioritizing and speaking up on mental health issues.

Agreed. Discussions on mental health were so taboo for decades and that just started changing in the last 5+ years so there's a lot of making up for lost time. That said, you flashing guns online like you're a gang banger sounds like someone who is easily influenced NOT mental health. His parents raised a follower who just happened to be good at basketball.

It's just the overcorrection of society. Problems that were swept under the rug for so long like mental health, LGBTQ people, women being oppressed, etc got mainstream society bending over backwards to make right. But they don't realize they go overboard sometimes and the people use it to their advantage. Funny how they make sure to not overcorrect when it comes to Black Americans tho.

If he's really from a 2 parent home and had a decent family structure then he might have some mental problems and not feel "black enough" with the popular culture

Just a few sessions would clean that up
