Ah that white woman privilege. Someone mentioned FL, yeah a black chick made warning shots and damn near got life in prison.

She attempts to slit a cop's throat which should be 10x worse than attempting to slit a civilian's throat, it was all a misunderstanding.

I saw a link to this story in reddit's r/p*ssyPass section :snoop:

There was another story where a woman got 2 years for smashing an 8-year-old boy on several occasions. You should have seen what the judge said in that case during the punishment phase

Women get away with some terrible crimes :snoop:

Justice system trolling too hard

RUTLAND CITY, Vt. —

A Rutland jury acquitted Jennifer Berube, 40, of an attempted murder charge Friday. The charge came from an incident where Berube held a knife to the throat of a city police officer in December 2012.

Berube and her then husband were taken into custody on fraud and theft charges Dec. 27, 2012. The couple was separated and Berube was handcuffed, but later taken to the bathroom, a department investigation found.

The handcuffs were not put back on when she returned to an interview room, the report said. She was also taken to another interview room where the door was kept open, the report said.

Berube then walked out of the DUI processing room, approaching Officer Damon Nguyen from behind. Court documents said Berube cut Nguyen’s neck, missing an artery by 1 inch.

“I pulled a knife on him,” Berube is heard yelling to her husband in the video during the scuffle.

Investigators found Berube had concealed the knife in her clothing and had been searched earlier by officers. She was also found carrying a syringe and a hair clip. Berube later told police she is a heroin addict, and that her husband would kill himself before going to jail, court documents said.
“It was a very scary situation,” said Chief James Baker. Baker said the department has since put policies in place to prevent a similar event from happening.

“People are doing a better job at searching defendants when we take them into custody,” he said.

Baker said supervisors now check holding cells at the start and end of shifts, and that officer training includes how to better read situations that can escalate.

“The officers are human,” Baker said. “They're dealing with human beings who have enormous underlying social challenges and the officers are put in these spots all the time.”

Nguyen was not seriously injured and returned to duty in 2013.

Baker said Berube has moved out-of-state.
