Im only in my 20s still but in those times I've learned things. Most of them are pretty simple but they don't seem obvious when you are going through the motions. I've got ten commandments so far and of course I'm a add more as I continue to grow in life. I just wanted to post these to see what your guys opinions are.

First- being blood related doesn't mean you're family. My dad and father talk to each other twice a year. I have cousins who I spent my entire summers with as a kid. the only time we talk to each other is when we like each other Facebook posts.:yeshrug: As an adult you can form your own family. You also have the choice of who's in that family. I have friends who call me every other day. My best moments in life most of the times are with my friends. And at my hardest times they helped a brother.:mjcry:

Second- not everyone is your friend.:usure: Most people just don't give a damn about you. And just because you're cool with someone doesn't make you guys actually "friends.":comeon: I know a dude from high school who I had a class with in college. We never talked in high school but in that class in college we were partners everyday. Became facebook friends. :blessed:We started to do little activities like fantasy football. We'd hit each other up about shyt all the time. Then we started to hang out. That class ended and that was the last time we ever talked. :dwillhuh: This was just a friendship of circumstances.

Third- nobody giving a damn about you is a blessing.:jawalrus: When you realize that. This is when you make the friends you have. You stop caring what others think then you start being yourself.:smugfavre: I'm just a simple man who loves wwe, anime, sports and drinking. None of my friends are cool with one another because they are different. But I'm cool with everyone because we all have common interests.

Four- who gives a damn what others think? :martin: I've gotten clown on for the shyt I enjoy. a friend and I could be watching wwe and someone can walk in then start that old "you guys watch this? You know it's fake right.":martin::dame: No matter what educaded answer you give they'll disregard it with another insult. When I know how much fun I have watching wrestling why should i care what someone else says?:patrice:

Five- quit trying to impress others. People are not going to like the same shyt as you. There is no point of putting effort into something your not to make someone else feel good or happy. One time I played some new music for my dad. His response was today's music is garbage.:dame: I play some nas. His response is do you ever listen to rnb.:what: At this point you just realize its not worth it trying to impress someone because it won't work anyways.:manny:

Six- quit trying hard for women. Dudes live for sex. They spend their entire idea process and days trying to get some to just not get any.:pachaha: I used to be one of those guys trying so hard to impress the prettiest girl to get some.:snoop: When I've put sex on the end of the bus that's when I actually got it.:obama: Also when I stopped putting women on a pedestal I realized women are flawed to and came be on the same level of ain't shyt as men.:mjpls:

Seven- rejections aren't bad. Shout out to my hoh guys.:myman: but don't shout out to the guys who have a strong hatered for women just because they've been rejected way to many times.:flabbynsick: Men never take into consideration all the girls they've actually had but feel more emotions to a girl not wanting him.:mjcry: Then guys never take into consideration that just because girls didn't like you where you are from won't mean it will be the same when you leave to a different circumstance, state or city. All those 7's who rejected you in high school won't mean shyt when yo go to college and dimes are letting you smash.:blessed:

Eight- reading is so dope.:jawalrus:As a kid I tried avoiding studying or reading. I love reading now.:feedme:Youre imagination is on another level reading books.:wow: And there is so much knowledge and self help you don't know about until you pick one up. When I'm not reading a book I'm at least reading some articles on today's news or random interests.

Nine- health is really important. As a kid you put whatever in your stomach.:yeshrug: I've had the best health and the worst health possible.:sadcam: Eating or drinking certain things actually effect your body appearance, the way you feel, and your mind. I used to be deep into pop. My skin was mad oily and every time I popped a zit I left scars.:scust:I had horrible heart problems. And little shyt would happen that is annoying like eye twiches.:mjcry: I haven't had a sip of pop in over two years.:gladbron:My skin is clear as can be. No more medication. And I don't have little body twiches.:whoo:

Ten- stay focused on the present. I used to be so focused on looking to the future I never enjoyed the present so when the future did happen I would miss the pass heavily.:to: I remember being highschool couldn't wait as a freshman to be a senior to being a senior to being in college. I couldn't wait to get older to start drinking. Being focused on the future you never realize how dramatically it will be different from the present because you take it from granted. Family members pass away, pets, you and someone aren't as close as you guys used to be, you get older and can't do certain things you did as a kid, and so many little things that go unnoticed.:damn:Yes you should focus on your future and invest in it but you need to enjoy the present because the future isn't promised and as you get older time goes faster. Grandmas cooking on thanksgiving won't be there every year bros.:damn:
