I'm starting to hear the following words a lot in sports journalism

"complicit" and "vitriol"

i swear I never heard those words at all a few years ago now I them damn near every wanna be smart journalist use the words. especially on debate shows

I notice every once in awhile some random adjectives get used in every sports story ad nauseam. "Egregious" is a recent one too
