Online integration seems to be a big part of the Watch Dogs experience however, it seems you will be punished if you decide to turn off online invasions in the game.

As this picture shows, if you decide to disable online invasions you will be faced with a harsh punishment from Ubisoft stating:

“By disabling Online Invasions you will not be available for other players to invade, but you will also not be able to participate in Online Hacking and Tailing. Your Notoriety will be reset to zero and any Notoriety Skills you have unlocked will be lost.

Do you want to disable Online Invasions?

It seems that the always online feature is becoming more and more prevalent in modern games such as Need For Speed: Rivals and now Watch Dogs.

We were originally going to see the always online feature in the Xbox One but during the reveal the backlash from the Xbox community had that decision overturned pretty quickly.

It all depends on how a person likes to play their games. For example, I may never use online features in a game like Assassin’s Creed or The Last of Us, but franchises like Call of Duty and Battlefield continue to keep me enthralled in their online play. Watch Dogs had piqued my interest with its unique online experience; but punishing me for not wanting to always be online is something that will turn me away from the game.

What do you think of this online “feature” from Ubisoft? Does it bother you? Will if effect your choice to play Watch Dogs online or not?

The main character is a hacker who hacked the wrong shyt and got his niece wacked.

Now he is out for revenge.

The big draw is supposedly a living breathing world. All NPC characters have backrounds, behaviors, memories.

From early previews it sounds like the hacking adds a lot to it and is fun to mess around with.

Main character has a cell phone that hacks into the computer systems of a fully wired Chicago. Somebody kills his relative and he's out for revenge. He's not a hero or a good guy.
