Really not a good idea at all, unless its a food truck or really small store front.

You literally have to make the best sloppy joes ever and i mean ever for this to work. Cause the novelty will wear off very soon.

Sloppy joes can be your main item, but you simply need more on your menu.

Op should do some actual market research. Asking this question on the coli is pretty ridiculous. Listening to dudes on here will have a nikka in the poor house quick.

OP should literally just go around and ask people that. Put about 2-4 questions down on paper basically asking if people would support a business like that. Make about 500 flyers with those questions on there and just straight up go a strip mall or somewhere public in the area he wanna open up and ask people if they would mind filling it out. Most folks gonna hit you with the gas face but some will stop and fill it out. From that you can really gauge if it'll work. Also gotta do research on the types of people in the area. A whole lot actually. Census.gov got a good tool for that.

But don't ask nikkas on here. Seriously. Reading most of these comments is pure comedy. nikkas couldn't make a Lemonade stand profitable or even pay they bills on time, let alone make a brick and mortar turn a check

for an idea like this, the cereal wouldn't be your money maker - just your draw and appeal. You'd only be making $1-2 profit per BOX of cereal at MOST, but you could charge $2.99 for milk, coffee, redbulls or orange juice ($0.50 a refill if staying to eat) and thats where most of your revenue / profit would come from. Your overhead could be small because you'd only be open from 5 or 6 am to 10 am every day. Have other sides of hashbrowns, bananas, donuts etc - breakfast food (no pancakes or waffles otherwise you'd just be a bootleg denny's and lose your identity and appeal/uniqueness)

send out flyers to schools + organizations in schools "$1 breakfast on way to class! Stop by @Taadow cereal shop" and then tax them mafukkas on everything else :manny: wouldn't even mention any other thing on the marketing aspect, just hit people with it when they arrive

The bolds were my thoughts exactly...low overhead, don't have to be open all day, and you know it's rare anybody
eats just one bowl of cereal in a sitting. And, i'm not having to cook nothin'.

On top of that, if it's by campus, broke students would hit it up for just a buck. Place might be the lowkey hangout.

imagine if you could get sloppy joes and could choose from various types of meat: beef, chicken, pork, bison, elk, deer and so on

then you could choose from many cheeses from around the world: gouda, swiss, monterey jack and etc.

and various breads....

would you patronize my business :lupe:
nikka. Sloppy Joes? Really?

You god damn right I'd be there.

There's a place in Chicago that just sells grilled cheese sandwiches and that place is always packed. You don't really have to diversify much if you pick the right crowd.
