People being forced to take less money up front and signing to a platform just to get fights is bad for the sport and something real fans shouldn’t be co-signing
I think it’s convenient plot armor anyway but “leave Bob Arum” is not the same as “sign to PBC”

You sign where the best financial setup is at. Plain and simple. Just because them PBC dudes are happy to fall in line get paid 1.5 mil for megafights don't mean everybody gotta be. But I know I know....they get 20 mil under the table right
..... Crawford took his own path and chose the best place for him and his family to be set up for LIFE. Keith Thurman and Porter made 1.4 and 1 mil each for their fight. While Terrence Crawford got a MINIMUM guarantee of 5.5 to face amir Khan. And 4 mil for Kell brook.None of them welterweights at pbc have made more money than bud over the past 5 years and that's just facts. Dude been treated like royalty over there. But he gotta leave that situation just because PBC chose to freeze him out?

I DO believe bud needs to leave top rank after his contact is up because of Bob's comments on him. False. Bud knows his promoter moves the exact same way. So he Knowingly made his choice with the consequences in mind.

No one has been clamoring about a Crawford Porter fight or even the Spence Porter fight -- the fight to be made has always been Crawford Spence, and the PBC side has consistently demonstrated an unwillingness to put aside their in house fights to make the cross promotional fight with Top Rank.
As soon as Spence beat Porter, PBC had Danny in the ring even though absolutely no one was interested in that scrap. It literally took a near death experience for people to give a shyt about that fight.
PBC has had a clear plan for Spence at 147, and it includes not giving Crawford a fight until Spence beat the marquee PBC attractions. It doesn't matter how you try to justify it, this has only prevented the #1 and 2 fighters at welterweight from actually fighting.
Crawford shouldn’t have to join PBC to get a fight with PBC welters. That political impasse/other side of the street shyt is lame. I will always favor boxing over MMA by a huge margin. I love the sport, truly. However, what MMA has over boxing is that you can’t hide from the top guys in your division for fukking years. The matchmaking is way better and easier. There’s none of this marinate shyt. Where I do hold Bud accountable is when guys have made apparent efforts to fight him (Swift, Showtime), he’s had no real interest. It’s like he felt those fights were beneath him but has no qualms fighting Subway sandwich artists and shyt.
