entertainers/celebrities.
Is it at least one nikka that ain't soft shoeing when that pressure is put on them? I never thought blacks would be losing this bad.
I like Richard Sherman, he goes in from time to time and ain't scared. I don't know many more.
I tried to debate
@Poitier on this but basically i'm of the mindset that too much black wealth is tied up in entertainers:
Actors, athletes, musicians, random talking heads like oprah or stephen a smith.
Why?
Because they're ALL employees. ALL of them.
None of them are truly independent for income. They all inevitably have to get a call back for a role or opportunity and depend on their likability to support their wellbeing.
@Poitier suggests that such a thing is good because they get opportunities to make money and create more who have money...and i GUESS thats cool, but its not ok when many of those around them or their kids end up following in their footsteps. It doesn't change much.
Not much really changes and there are VERY few cases of people successfully using their money from one lane and transcending into other independent lanes. The outliers are too few to even count.
