I'm just thinking about how It's so many older Hip-Hop artists/guys whose moments have passed that could be eating as ghostwriters/hands-on mentors. I wish more of them would do like retired athletes and work with current players on their game (i.e. Hakeem Olajuwon, Deion Sanders).

Just think for a second how dope it'd be if artists unionized and adopted a team mentality like "we ALL gonna work together on EVERYBODY's music together and eat." Imagine Rakim and G Rap teaching young cats how to write bars or cats like Nelly, Ja Rule, and 50 ghostwriting everybody's hooks who need help in that area. Have the Rap Game operating like the New Day Co-Op from The Wire. No drama no bullshyt. No competing against each other just so Cac label heads can eat. Share and share alike.

Y'all think something like that could ever work? This is the post that got my wheels turning..

I don't understand why the hip hop OGs can't write for other artists. The only thing people don't like is their image because they're old. Ja could be writing crossover hits for these young artists. His pen is sharp.
