Imagine being back in the 1920s and forgetting to watch that new episode of Felix the cat and having to wait until the 1980s before you can watch

Reruns didn’t happen until 1951 and it wasn’t until like 1980s until you could watch a Felix the cat episode of VHS or TV so if you were 13 when you missed the episode, you’d be 63 before you can watch that episode your best friend watched and said was the best episode :huhldup:

In the 1920s televisions were not in homes yet. You would have seen cartoons like Felix the cat and mickey mouse in shorts before the main feature movie.
So you would not have missed it if you saw the movie

They had reruns at the theaters (called reissues) also back then I think the sold films of the specific episode and you would watch it at home on the film projector
