What software can I use to image a cell phone meaning to literally create a full image of the current state of the cell phone including all settings all everything loaded into one file that can then be copied over .

If you're referring to an iphone, then just use iTunes to backup the device. For android there are a number of backup solutions. The Backup you're describing is called a "Nandroid Backup" , you'll want to install TWRP or another custom recovery for your model phone and boot into the custom recovery so that you can then "Backup" to an sdcard.

edit: easier method

Thank you.

I'll try this. I have to get another phone and im concerned that all the music I starred as favorites and made into playlists using samsungs stock music app will be lost when I get my new phone.

Starred music is saved in memory making it difficult to just transfer over and the favorites playlist that sin android I don't think can be backed up.

iM having to view my phone through screen mirroring on my tv but obviously henpecking 1000 songs per playlist from the favorites section, is an exercise in insanity wen you cant see the display to check boxes. :snoop:

Spent the last 5 months starring songs and im only in the L's. Fitting.

I LAUCED!
