The NFL on Thursday nights is gonna give TNA more problems than going head to head with Smackdown would. Quiet as kept, the only safe days that TNA doesn't have to worry about the WWE and the NFL are Wednesday and Friday nights, but I wouldn't take my chance at going back to Fridays.

The combination of NXT, Lucha, ROH would kill them on Wednesdays too. They're probably thinking they'll just take the L on Thursdays like WWE does on Mondays during the footballs season.

Almost forgot about those three.

At this point, they need to just say "fukk it" and have a WCW Saturday Night-type show like back in the day.

The Pop exec said he isn't worried about any ratings drops during Thursday Night Football though. He said he looks at TNA as a yearly show and limited run comp like Thursday NFL isn't as big of a concern in the network's outlook for TNA.
