This was forever one of those albums I picked up and flipped over (no pun intended-Flipmode) at the wrecka stow
but never bought. The cover did not help.
But I was on vacation recently and “Take It To The Streets” came up on my playlist, and that usedta
be a jam. (I did a “Never Forget” on this before, now that I think about it)
So I says to myself, I says: “Why you never listened to this album, Cuzz? You got damn near all the Flipmode joints
but this one…I got time today…”
This chit was a secret banger, my Yos!
I think it hit harder because I listened to it in Da Chariot. It successfully brought da ruckus to this rap muthafucca.
But this woulda got major burn if I bought it in ‘97-‘98. I’m kinda mad I slept on it this long.
