In 1989, Michael Jordan had 10 triple-doubles in 11 games...

That was a great read and a good reminder for those so hasty to make comparison between MJ and LJ.

People gonna silly and not read it though.

He wouldn't have choked at any age...ask the 1982 Tar Heels.

:obama:

Jordan was not 6 for 6. That completely omits all the times he FAILED to make the Finals altogether. I'm not impressed because he lost in the 1st round while LeBron lost in the Finals. That's pretty dumb.

This is why NBA fans are the most fickle I ever seen.
nikkas even on this board who claim to be knowledgable sports fans, ready to crown Lebron the GOAT just off 6 games and have the nerve to call this the best 6 game streak in history :what:

Kobe scored 81 points on 60% shooting :childplease:

Lebron finally won a ring, and even his numbers in the finals werent no damn spectacular shyt.
Dirks 2011 playoff run was better :laff:

Love watching Bron play.He's phenomenal.

But mentally, he's not on MJ's level.Like he article stated, MJ stayed in kill mode. That shyt was permanent during his basketball career.

I'm not knocking Bron.I definitely think he is to this era of basketball what Jordan was to his.

I just don't think he has the complete alignment that Jordan had as a basketball player.

He's not as masterful as MJ.Especially in aspects that go beyond the physical out there on the court

People was watching, but they weren't paying attention. We're not going to see anything like MJ for a long time...maybe never.

He's still the only player, THAT I'VE WITNESSED, that I'm willing to put on "God Level"....It's still him and everybody else

This...........................

I was really :mindblown: with Espn dikkriding and the million threads about Lebron yesterday, and asked in one of them threads did people really watch Jordan play............

And Jordan did thats with double and triple teams, Lebron has the luxury of exploiting one on ones with a loaded ass Miami team

I respect Lebron's game and I think he's by far the best player the league has seen in a very long time.
But I just refrain from talking about MJ with clueless 1990s kids here.

What's not dumb, since we're being technical:

Jordan was 6 for 15 in leading his team to titles; he's 6 for 13 if you only count actual entire seasons played — which translates to Michael Jordan leading his team to a title 46% of the time (Higher than Kobe's fg pct., meaning Jordan's success rate at winning a title was higher than Kobe's success rate at making a jumpshot, and 2% below Lebron's career fg%).

Essentially, Jordan spent almost half his professional career winning titles. I'll reup thread on my iPhone 16 when Lebron's career is done, just to see his Championship percentage rate.
