This American Life did a story on this recently. Relative to before, Obama increased the number of USID intepreters and Iraq/Afganistan helpers compared to the republican administration before that. Still I think the number was only 7000 admitted during his time.

Also, I see some of the Obama hypocrisy here. I get it. However, I have to ask my Trump coli brehs whether there is a difference of scale, intent, and scope going on. Trump's intent seems different. We cant pretend tons of the repub and Trump base despises Islam. Also, the scope is larger as he has blocked green card people from those countries, which is massively antagonistic for those who legally immigrated after being vetted. They are respected members of our society and doing good work. Lastly, the scale is much larger - seven countries? Wtf? The largest terrorist actions were from countries not on that list.
