In 2015, would a PRIME Barry Sanders be better, about the same, or not as good?

Always so hard to tell. Part of me thinks all that dancing wouldn't work as well on dudes in 2015, but who knows.
Barry was a beast :ohlawd:

He would not be as good. No fukkin way. The athleticism and the expansion of the 3-4 would make it difficult. He'd still be good, but he would have to train himself to be more north south.

Athleticism isn't what it takes to contain barry sanders, technique is. Defense in the 90s was a lot more fundamental and rough. Shady MCoy had a season where he was the best back in the league and barry is exponentially more elusive. I honestly think he would do better in todays league because the game is more spread out now. Barry in space :blessed:

Why would he not be?

athletes are better, undoubtedly today. Alot of those dudes back then were big & blocky and they fit stereotypes for their positions.

Today you have more players who are hybrids of positions. Von Miller etc.

Not saying Barry couldnt deal with them, but it's definitely a question for debate. Not to mention, coaches/schemes are better.

In this pass happy league he'd be splitting 20 carries with another back so he'd get arundel 15 carries a game. 6-7 catches.
Hed be worse unfortunately
