Well at the age of 11 I already have my own place :sas2:

edit: so I guess if you are 12 and up and living with your parents, then you are a p*ssy ass broke boy. glad I could offer some insight into your dilemma.

What's the scenario, OP?

You tired and or get turned on when you hear your folks getting freaky at night?
Mama keep introducing you to a new "uncle" every other week?
Pops looking at you sideways cause you ain't got no job and stay your big ass in your room all day long?

You move out whenever you are ready as long as you making moves to get ready.

Plenty of nikkas and bytches move out at 18...work 2 jobs just to pay the bills and never achieve shyt with their lives...will be telling you to move out...and they'll eventually move back in with their parents when their two part time fast food jobs or whatever the fukk they do fire they ass.

Or they be working up the corporate ladder to just get paid 50K a year at 30 while a nikka just graduated from college can get that easy with the right degree.

While a real nikka will be like...

"While you at your parents house, stack your money up, get your degree because I moved out way to early and after you move out, you won't have the luxury to do any of that stuff."

shyt, a know a nikka that stayed with his parents until like 28 or some shyt and he just now moved away from home, got married to a woman that is a pharmacist, he knocked her up with two kids...

If there is a good working relationship, there isn't a right age. Some folks want (or are forced) to be independent too quickly and struggle as a result (this seems to be a problem in some Black households; I can't speak on other races). However, if living with parents, that doesn't mean one should become complacent.

I think 25 is a good age. By that time, you should have your first "real" job, making over 30k with set hours. You should have mad savings from working BS jobs like retail from 18-24. You are now the age to pull shorties to the crib.

Done and done.

when you save enough money to live comfortably on your own

i told this story on here before, but my ex's brother was making around $100K in his mid-20s and lived in his old room, in a bunk bed, for a few years with his younger brother. dude saved money, glo'd up and bought a house/got married like at 29.

dude had the audacity to not help his parents financially at all tho, not even by pitching a little for groceries... :mjlol:

And OP...

The main pressure to move out will come from...besides your parents, will be bytches and these same bytches will live with their parents, or live with a gang of fukking roommates.

You just gotta learn that comparing yourself is a suicide. You gotta be okay with your own path.
