In 2022 how much are we paying for hair cuts brehs

$0. Once COVID hit I starting cutting my own hair. I don't really care to go back to paying $45 anymore (including tip).

nikkas too cheap for their own good. I had to have a convo wit my barber because I was paying $30 for the longest, then I discussed inflation with her and the shop has said they upped the prices a couple times but she was cool wit me paying $25-30 all these years.


She been cutting my hair since I was 19. So I said fukk I’m paying the regular rate. It’s an expense I can incur. In LA good black barbers ain’t abundant like that. I’d rather pay a little extra to make sure they stay in business and convenient for me.

We raised em recently from 30/35 to 40 for a cut and beard. If you just want an all even cut it can be 30 but most nikkas are getting a fade along with the beard lined up and shyt. So it’s $40. A line up is basically a cut cuz of all the blending and shyt so we don’t really do the “all I need is a shape up” shyt because it’s usually more work than that. Nobody has complained about the price raise because a lot of shops are charging the same both in LA and the valley.
