In 2022 how much are we paying for hair cuts brehs

So I was getting my hair cut by the same barber for most of my life but since I moved im trying to scope out new spots and I truthfully don't even know whats a reasonable price these days. I would pay my old head anywhere from 20-30 depending on the tip.

I'm on Squire and I see people starting at $40 and up

Now $10 line up, $20 cut. Since I've been going to the same barber for years he does my face for free.

The one time I wanted to pay was one day in Charlotte, dude had a convo, gave me life tips, laced me up nice, brought out the razor, had the good smelling hair spray, wiped me down with alcohol and said $25....I kept to my guns and took of like Asafa Powell

I wish. I tried that shyt a couple times but both times was a disaster. Once my barber was able to fix it. The other time I just went bald.

Going to the barber used to be the highlight of my week. Now that shyt is a chore. It’s appointment only so no more shop talk cuz it’s always empty. I might just cut everything down myself. No lineup just keep it low.

and definitely not growing it out. I’m not with fro’s at all and I’m too old to be dealing with a baby dread phase.
