Son I guess you never heard of cash for guns or groceries for guns. Paying someone to give up a freedom is the new thing. The idea didn't come from the police it came from a organization that didn't comment on the situation which proves this stop was for more than just testing how many idiots would consent to giving up DNA samples. What should have alarmed you were off-duty police doing roadblocks. What protocol is that?
