I try to help my squad where I can. Set solid screens, engage in psychological warfare talking trash, good perimeter defence.

I'd get a couple buckets on back-screens where my teamates found me and my defender fell asleep because I never call for the ball. Probably go 2 for 4 from the line for the last 2 points. Most games are decided by less than 6 so my contribution is pivotal, according to the math.

Why hit the boards if I'm locking dudes up on the perimeter? If I dedicate energy to the action down-low it takes away from my strengths. Also, I don't really need to up my touches if my team does not have guys who are known as shooters by reputation. I pick my guys up psychologically by beating the other team down with my words. The more you humiliate the other team with words the higher swag rating your own team has ....and it's a well known fact that higher swag rating=higher shooting %.
