In a typical electric circuit, do the electrons actually flow throughout the circuit? Like, do the electrons actually move from power source, to resistor/light-bulb, and back again?

Or do the electrons somehow transmit their energy to the next electron in front of it without actually “moving”?

:why:!?!?!?

Could be slightly off base, but in Quantum Mechanics electrons don't actually move. They just "appear" from one moment in time to another
