They won't be broken up because they're also heavily invested in companies(like intel) that pay regular dividends to investors. Your pension fund might be invested in companies they have a lot of money in. If you're in a position to talk to anyone running for office(local, state, federal) ask them what their thoughts are on these companies. If they aren't familiar with them, ask them to look into it.

People keep failing to realize that dirty money has been running the government for a long ass time. Why else do you think they have no incentive to solve a lot of the problems plaguing this country?

As long as they get a cut, they don't care. Best they'll do is fine them less than 10% of what they make every quarter.

A fine means "legal for a fee" to these guys. If fines were tied to profits and it was something like 30% of quarterly earnings then the world would look VERY different from how it does now.

As long as politicians are allowed to own and trade stock, and aren't forced to make their portfolios public they have no incentive to fight for us. If you're voting and the candidate refuses to reveal their investments, they're a snake. They don't deserve trust.
