One of the last entertaining "beefs". 50 took being disrespectful to another level when he took a picture with his sons and Floyd Mayweather and Ross didn't do shyt. But careers don't get ended over beef these days so it was all entertainment.

I think thats it ultimately, 'beef' brings attention and can alter perceptions but honestly at the end of the day your music matters... Ross continued to drop music that his core fans appreciated that had somewhat of an appeal to those outside of his lane... and fifty was coming off some albums even his core fans were wavering on and then went on to drop no music... Ross didnt 'win' at no point did folks say 'Ross won' they just reached a point where it was an actual rapper trading insults with someone who used to be a rapper

and for the record, ross' forgettable disses arent what got under curtis' skin. if you got back, you can see that 50 was pissed off as soon as ross threw a diss at him. he was clearly offended that he was getting called out by a dude that was obviously CB4 and announced that he was gonna expose him right then and there. i saw all the theatrics coming a mile away.
theres a handful of rappers that dissed 50 way worst and rapped circles around his head. yet, he didnt go thru all of this with them.

50 only lost because Ross had a 3 year period when he was putting out fantastic albums, singles & mixtapes.
In the period he put out:
