as the first player to actually make 70 million off of a 100+ million dollar contract.

gotdamn, all that money
If he played now that contract would have been $45 mil guaranteed :wow:

How much did he actually make off that $100 million dollar contract? He played with that contract for what, 4 years? :smh:
HOW do a nikka lose all that money

even if he played half that shyt, thats still 50 mill, take away taxes hes still taking home atleast 35 of that

nikka give me 10 mill and ill have 20 mill in 10 years

:beli:

its highly unlikely he made more then 20 mil from that contract

Of the eight completed $100 million contracts in the NFL, only McNabb and Brett Favre earned over 50 percent of the maximum value of the contract. Daunte Culpepper only received $19 million from his $102 million deal signed in 2003 and is now facing foreclosureon his South Florida home.

Steelers are in a bad cap space. Most likely they asked him to re-structure almost every year which turns his money into guaranteed money.

Plus he got like $8 million from Miami, but I don't think that's the point. You see all these big numbers on NFL contracts and you're lucky if you end up getting 30% of it.

okay
i was talking about him making this thread about how much football players seeing off these contracts
and that 19 mil is still a lot of money

That's not the point of this thread, genius.

These players are out there killing themselves for contracts that aren't guaranteed, only ones of the major sports without guaranteed contracts, they have a worthless and impotent union worthless to help them towards it, and a media that is complicit in the league's and owners' bullshyt by always going with the "value" of these contracts whenever it's time to write a sensationalist story.
