Exactly. As a huge boxing fan, it's fairly accurate and not an insult at all. Roy Jones was the greatest boxer of his era, and Anderson Silva is the greatest of his era. They both relied/rely greatly on their superior athleticism. Not sure why Lukie is trying to frame it as a slight.

:childplease: So far the level of posting and threads in this new subforum have been embarrassing.

More reactionary bullshyt from a casual fan who thinks he has more knowledge of the sport then he does.

Are you fukking kidding me? Anderson dominated his weight class for the last 7 years, and up until Saturday beat everyone who stood across the cage from him. Roy in his prime couldn't be fukked with, sure he's tarnished his legacy in the last few years but it doesn't diminish what he accomplished.

If Anderson never steps inside the cage again his legacy is cemented. No one in MMA has done what he did.

In his prime, nobody could beat Roy Jones. shyt, at times, it looked like no one could even touch him. He could go against anyone in history and be the favorite to win.
