Yea a like of hypotheticals and assumptions but it's a fun little exercise to do. I saw one about what if the league didn't block the CP trade. Lakers probably never trade for Dwight Howard, Bynum might still be in the league, Darryl Morey probably would be fired and the "analytics movement" might have looked different since he would have got Pau in that trade with no chance to get Harden later, etc

Actually, the whole plan was to trade for both CP3 and Dwight. But yeah, the whole basketball reasons fukked over everyone involved. Now an interesting question would be what would've happened had the Lakers acquired CP3 instead of Dwight. Kobe's achilles injury never happens since he wouldn't be playing PG and SG at the same damn time under f'ucktoni. Bynum was doomed though he wasn't going to last whether he got traded or not.

If LeBron told them to move him for Love (or anyone else), they do it.

LeBron would have to be convinced Embiid was a generational talent, and at that point in his career he wasn't going to wait for it to come to fruition, he wanted a known, veteran quality. You don't win titles with rookies/young guys (albeit, lol, except if they're generational talents - Bird, Magic, Duncan).
