you was buster if you had that snes version

the SNES version was weaker cause of no blood but once Mortal Kombat 2 came out it the SNES version MURDERED the Genesis version so it was a fair tradeoff... :win:

and Mortal Monday was a holiday, i remember my grandma copping it for me from KB Toys during the day, when she picked me up from school she had it waiting for me...great memory right there.

We also copped Mortal Kombat 2 on the day it dropped from Toys R Us, man i love being spoiled by my grandma... :blessed:

I was so jealous when I seen MK1 on my friends SNES, the graphics/sounds :whew: but hey, at least we had blood/fatality's and controlled better on SEGA :manny:

Man, I remember being so mad my parents made me go to school on Mortal Monday.

Pops copped, and had it waiting when I got back though :myman:

Breh, EVERY MK release was a big deal back in the day. When it came out, the streets would be starved for them movesets, to the point where I could hustle copy and pasted movesets.

Will we ever get back to those levels of hype?
