In terms of looks/style, what cars age the best?

I'll name Volkswagens for one.

Even those '99 model Jettas still look relevant today as long as they've been kept decently.

Just depends on whether or not the company has kept successive models looking similar to current ones.

Some companies will change styling direction more often than others.

You can draw a line from cars like the 3-series, 911, F-150, Silverado, etc. from 80's to now and see they are related.

American cars I gotta go with buicks park avenues kept the same style for years and they still look good.

I've seen a 98 park have more luxury features than a 2011 camary.

Also like someone said silverados those always look good.

Foreign imma go with bmw and audi those 2 are just timeless.

Cars with fewer lines age better. Also depends on how long they go before remodeling.

BMW's basically held the same look throughout their entire line for the whole of the 90's and into the early 00's.

I'd imagine the same will happen with current Audi's. They've got a uniform look throughout their line and as it's a big hit I'd be shocked to see it change anytime soon.

Obviously porsche's........

2nd would be infiniti/nissan ......

If your looking at individuals cars. Model's that are at least 8-10 yrs old, but still look current are: G35 coupes/350z/FX35, Honda Accords, Maximas, corvette's etc.

It seems like every new model Mercedes makes the last look like trash. I would only lease a Mercedes because you know it's gonna be ugly in 5 years.

Yep.

These really curvy, aerodynamic designs age poorly.

VW/Audi & Honda/Acura..... they don't do radical design changes and age well.

I wonder how the new hyundai/kia cars will hold up next 5-10 years, design wise
