The area code is 416, it's used in Toronto.
The two area codes for Toronto are 416 and 647. The number that both area codes have in common is "The 6". An underground rapper from Toronto named Jimmy Johnson made the name. I live in the city and I can tell its catching on. I honestly don't mind it at all! I always hated us being called the T-Dot.
