I do think in the 90's Kendrick would be an under the radar niche act. Too many greats were prominent then.

I mean definitely like kendrick and think he's a step in the right direction but I kinda cosign this

I don't have a particularly strong opinion on Kendrick yet. I've fallen way behind on modern hip hop. I've heard section 80, C4, Overly dedicated and a few guest appearances here and there but haven't listened to any of his albums yet. I like section 80 a lot. The other two not so much. From what i've heard so far i'd say he's pretty good, but nothing mind-blowing. I can't really judge him in full until i've listened to his albums though. Would you guys say he's as nice as the nineties version of Xzibit?
