1)Improve access to AP college courses.
2)Decrease class sizes so our black students have more individualized attention in school.
3) Increase standards amongst our youth. In my house anything under 80 was considered failing.

Bridges out of poverty is a good resource. Get them reading early and often, talk with parents about the importance of reading and talking to there children as soon as they exit the womb. We've normally heard 30 million fewer words by the time we're four years old. It's playing a huge role. So is lead in the inner-city, start a campaign to get people tested and followed up on.
Teach mindfulness to young people, emotional self regulation and patience are key skills. I have a lot of ideas and projects that I'm putting into practice or have before. I really think we need basic knowledge skills and competencies that we can use to implement change in our respective communities. I'm legit exhausted and gonna head to my girls spot ubu but I want to start using this site and others to do some real community organizing and whatnot. We can complain about BLM or we can put in work.

I was looking forward to getting off work and seeing my Coli family lace us young cats with some knowledge
:snoop:

Only to see positive threads get no play. If this was some relationship or movie fukkery we'd have damn near 10 pages
Its how these things go, breh. You can bet your ass they complaining about the lack of empowerment in another thread, though.

Some gems have been dropped already.

Tell them you love them and that you understand what they're going thru and the best is yet to come. Stay focus and never stop believing in yourself.

Teach them about money, credit and investing.

Teach them discipline at an early age (daily chores are a good place to start, study habits etc)

Teach them that the white man/woman is the devil

Stop telling every child to go to college. Inform them about trades, dem certs etc

Teach them to love, respect, and be loyal to our own, instead of worshiping others.
