In Valdosta GA catching strong culture shock.

I'm a bay area breh visiting a friend stationed out here. The lack of diversity, MAGA + religious billboards, and the general feeling of in all these rural towns got me TRIPPIN!!!

doesn't help that I stick out like crazy just off appearance and my lack of an accent. this like a completely different world.


think we might be going to Jacksonville tonight... Anything y'all would recommend a breh check out around here?

Jacksonville sucks too and you will be surprised that it's even labelled as a city.

My mom's side of the family is from Valdosta and Madison County Florida (county right below Valdosta).

We were thru there this summer, on our way to St. Augustine, Florida, from Illinois.
We even ate breakfast at the Cracker Barrel

On that entire trip down south, I was surprised to only see 1 Confederate flag, and that was in Dalton, Georgia
