According to Moore's law computing power is doubling every two years, from where I see we're at right now I think AI will pass the Turing test on the regular in a couple of decades if that long. (supposedly there's AI that's already passed it, who knows)
I checked out that sex doll thread the other day and those things are looking more and more lifelike. I think they'll look and feel like fresh corpses in no time. (you nikkas are nasty btw
)
So by my guesstimation, we'll have AI that will be able to pass as an actual person around 2040 and bodies that seem real emerging around the same time. Give it a couple more decades to work out all the kinks and I say we'll be interacting with these things unknowingly by 2060.
What's the coli's take?
Don't be too cool for school and roll with me on this.
