Doing it now in TN. Low will be 28 but with the wind chill will be feeling like 8-12..$5 dollars is better than spending thousands of dollars and being inconvenienced.

We do it Jersey. But we was broke growing up and those habits die hard. Getting ya pipes fixes is expensive but aI can afford it now.

Whether exposed and in wall pipes are insulated or not, it's a good idea to leave the water running slowly when it dips below a certain temp. overnight.

Doing so costs you a couple of pennies.
Legitimately shocked coli is shocked about this

Moms taught us as youngins that leaving it on a slow drip is all you need

No matter cold it gets and where you are or even how nice our new it is, it only depends on how the water system is set up. Don’t get pretentious yall.
Yeah. I’ve had to do this shyt in Raleigh NC and if doesn’t even really ever get that cold here.

It happens in old houses in NYC with poor insulation. Like a freezing ass basement with pipes by the walls.
