Being black to me means being hardened against the stereotype of what blackness means to lower class blacks and whites in general. It means understanding why lower class blacks feel the way they do and understanding why whites in general fear us. Hell why everyone fears us. Being Black is understanding you have zero control of your perception. and Accepting that reaching others might be harder for you. Being Black is you understanding that you represent every black person. is it fair. No. is it your duty No. but do you really wanna make people think every Black person is an animal or a savage. Being black is tough. Being black means there is certain shyt i can't do around other black people. Because they feel like its something white/asian others wil do.
