In your opinion, has UFC become over-saturated?

It's literally on TV every day/night on either Fox Sports 1 or 2, there's seems to be a new card every Saturday night with new or upcoming fighters, plus there's the reality show they do, and I think there's a separate reality show for the Female fighters.

They have a PPV every 3-4 weeks, and the occasional free PPV on Fox.

I've never been the biggest fan, but it just seems like they're doing too much. :ld:

Is UFC still as popular as it was 3-4 years ago?

Not really. They promote their entire league in the same way that boxing used to EXCEPT the fact that their big names hardly ever fight. Cain is one of the biggest fighters they have but dude has fought maybe less than Mayweather has over the past few years. They've watered down their product by not putting out their premier guys regularly. Ultimate Fighter on the other hand... they fukk that up by turning it into a reality show like NBC's contender. People aren't trying to see dedicated, scripted human interest pieces every week for a decade.

Yes.

Had to take a step back from watching. Even PPV cards are full of filler undercard fights. I don't know, maybe it's because I'm not a hardcore MMA junkie, but all the UFC on TV has me worn out on the product at the moment.

this is kinda what i'm talking about.

I mean, Jon Jones is still a fight I might watch, but all these other random dudes isn't something I care about. You gotta be a hardcore fan to be able to keep up w/ all this stuff.

yup. they have too many fighters and too many cards. then on top of that, they've had terrible luck with injuries fukking up so many main events the past couple years...and a lot of times, those main events were the only fights anyone gave a shyt about on those cards.

too many fights, not enough good fighters left

all the good ones are on the way out and the young ones are not that impressive
