Aside from the technical definition /difference I essentially look at someone wealthy as having full freedom and control over their lives. Someone is rich based on income alone. For instance a pro athlete is rich but they have to keep playing to remain so. The owner could sit at home all day in his pajamas andnever do a damn thing again and remain wealthy.
