Increasing your vertical leaping ability 4"-8" instantly is achievable by wearing two pairs of shoes simultaneously, multiplying torque, tension and lift of a jump as a result.
Key to its effectiveness is that the inner shoe must be a five toed barefoot shoe such as
Reason being, regular athletic socks do not provide enough grip and tension on the foot to stress the tendons to activate all muscles required for explosive movements. In fact, they're actually counterproductive, providing too much slip and not enough compression.
In effect, you'd be wearing these shoes instead of socks in your basketball shoe.
The combined effect of toe separation which stresses the tendons and increased compression due to the thickness differential of the five toed shoes compared to socks, added to the increased torque output of the rubberized sole, and you're looking at 4"-8" total increase without special training required.
An added benefit to wearing five toed shoes as opposed to athletic socks, is an increase in agility, lateral quickness, tighter pivots, and explosiveness of movements all due to a rubberized sole and tighter fit that five toed shoes provide.
Adding a full length rigid carbon fiber insole to the inside of your basketball shoe can also have an effect on torque and grip by providing a surface for the rubberized sole of the five toed shoe to adhere to as well as reducing flexion which increases lift, sort of like a see-saw effect happening inside your shoe.
As you can clearly see, utilizing a two shoe method has many benefits to any athlete looking to increase performance.
