- How long(years/generations) have your family been in their current location.
- How often does your family go back?(if at all)
- How much extended family(aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) do you have around?
- Do you have a solid group of other Indians your age in your area or is it just a handful?
- To what extent do you make your own lane or stick to what your parents planned for you?
- How do you "navigate" a media(TV, Movies, etc) landscape that's mostly white folks doing stuff or Black folks doing stuff? (Do you watch media from your "home country" to fill the gap)
- Do you feel the need/pressure to choose between white or black culture? I've heard folks(east asians) make that claim given a lack of anything specific to them in the general cultural landscape ...especially during high school years.
- What do you think are the general stereotypes of Indian people given off by the local foreign Media?
- How does the Media depiction change(if at all) for Indian men vs Women?
