India just launched its first high-definition telescope into orbit

India has been on a roll lately. Just a few short weeks after completing construction on the world’s first solar-powered airport, and also unveiling a big plan to replace all street lights with energy-saving LEDs; the country has now successfully launched its first space observatory — a major milestone for its rapidly growing space program. This launch follows an earlier mission to Mars that sent an unmanned probe last year to study the red planet. India received accolades for its Mars mission, which cost a fraction of similar missions conducted by the US, Russia and other European countries.

Only cost 27 million too :leon:

Slowly but surely, India is on the rise. Next up, toilets :jawalrus:

They already sent an unmanned probe to mars, try to keep up.
:troll:Ofcourse.
Anyway did you know that Northern Ethiopia had hindu temples 2000 years ago. Ethiopian-hindu relationship is estimated to be about 2000 years old. We even have swastikas on our ancient rock carved churches such as St George of Lalibela

Swastika was not introduced to Europe or Africa by Hinduism, in fact the oldest depictions of swastika were found in Ukraine (10,000 BC) and Bulgaria (6,000 BC), the oldest swastika in India is dated 3,000 BC.

The ukranian swastika is questionable. The Bulgarian one is interesting. I'm not sure where it originated.

Well supposedly according to history Ethiopia empire stretched to India thousand of years ago. I am not surprised of the similarities
:manny:I dont believe it. But we did have relationships with Indians for thousands of years as a result of the ancient red sea trade routes. My mothers family is actually partially descendant of indian and pakistani traders who came to Islamic Ethiopia 600 years ago.
