are Indians the most shameless when it comes to worshipping whiteness?
the past week 've seen two examples of this while just tryna mind my own damn business
first was at work during lunch. Indian supervisor named Falguni was showing pics of her kids to co-workers and one of the white women there was like "aww your youngest is sooo fair-skinned"
which made Falguni laugh and she went on to tell a story about how her older daughter (dark-skinned) came to her all excited saying "mommy i'm getting whiter!" (because it's getting cold and winter is here) and how family members were complimenting her for getting paler skinned or some bullshyt. Then goes on to say the youngest is usually treated more favourably because she's light-skinned and how her husband blames her side of the family for how dark the older daughter is. she was telling this all nonchalantly while even the white women there were looking at eachother all uncomfortably, while Falguni was totally oblivious to how fukked up this story sounded. I was just sitting there tryna eat my lunch like 
next was today when I was bout to get a covid test. the guy handling the line (making sure everyone was social distancing) was some Indian dude. the chick at the front of the line was a blonde white woman with a kid. Indian dude goes up to the woman & kid (ignoring social distancing rules) going "aww what color are your eyes little boy? blue or green?" the white women kinda looks at him like
"they're blue" and the Indian dude goes on preaching about how most Indians have brown eyes but blue eyes are considered sacred and very beautful in his country all while making "coochie coo" type sound fx at the little kid in an attempt to ingratiate himself into this family dynamic (once again ignoring social distancing) all while the blonde cac is looking at him like
jesus christ man, Indians need to control their white worshipping tendencies in front of cacs. they seem to be oblivious to the fact they're embarrassing themselves
